The Lord has taken his beloved one home, on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the age of 76 years. Beloved sister of John Vander Velde (deceased), Jeltje Turkstra and Jack (deceased), Peter Vander Velde (deceased) Tina (deceased) and John Bremer, Rudy and Bert Van Holst, Maaike (deceased) and John Vander Hout, Hiltje Vander Velde, Fred (deceased) and Aukje Vander Velde, Ebby and Peter Van Dyk, Tieteke and Gerry DeGraaf. Annie was loved deeply and will be sadly missed by her 36 nephews and nieces. She will be remembered for her love for others and her willingness to help her family. Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St., N., Waterdown on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment service will be held at Woodland Cemetery on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 1 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at FIRST HAMILTON CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 181 Charlton Ave. W., Hamilton at 2 p.m., Rev. John Postuma officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to either Trinity Christian School (Burlington), Dundas Calvin Christian School, Calvin Christian School, or Hamilton District Christian High School would be appreciated.
