It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Earle Taylor quietly at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 27, 2010. Earle leaves behind his best friend and his wife of 42 years Mionne, his daughter Audrey (Ian Herr), his son Greg (Julie Bonneau) and his grandchildren Samuel, Trevor, Jacob and Charlotte. Earle is also survived by his brother Gary of Saskatoon, sister Wendy of Vancouver, sister-in-law Danielle (Metyn Valentik), nephews Ivo (Teri), Michel (Vanessa), Alex (Liza) and niece Jill (Brendan). Earle was predeceased by his parents Inez and Bert Taylor and his niece Darina Valentik. Born in Toronto, Earle spent his youth in Rouyn-Noranda (Quebec). Earle graduated as an electrical engineer and spent his entire career with Bailey Meter now ABB of Burlington.
Visitation will take place on Friday July 2, 2010 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the KITCHING, STEEPE AND LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St., N., Waterdown. A funeral mass in celebration of Earle's life will be held on Saturday, July 3rd at 10 am at ST THOMAS THE APOSTLE CHURCH, 715 Centre Rd., Waterdown. Interment Garden Lane Cemetery. Prayer Vigil and Knights of Columbus Service will be held on Friday, July 2 at 4 pm.
