Passed away peacefully and quietly, surrounded by her family at her home on January 6, 2010 in her 82nd year. Predeceased by husbands Elwood Colling (2005) and Herbert Parker (1958). Will be greatly missed by her children Betty (Dave), Anne (Duncan), Phyllis (Richard), Pat (Tom), Stanley, Sarah (Craig), and John (Debbie). Mary was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Loving sister to Nellie (John), Bertha, George (Margaret), Gerald (Shirley), and sister-in-law to Joan and Eilene. Predeceased by sisters Daisy, Lillian, Eunice, and brother Stanley.
Friends will be received by the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill Street North, Waterdown on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at LOWVILLE UNITED CHURCH (Guelph Line at Britannia Road) on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Lowville Cemetery.
