Peacefully, with her family at her side, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Thursday, May 27, 2010, Carol Van Eyk, at the age of 82 years. Loved mother of the late Marty Hopkins, and Dianne and Brian Briggs. Predeceased by her husband Klaas Van Eyk as well as her sister Patricia Fraser. Survived by her brother-in-law Jack Fraser. Carol will also be sadly misserd by her A.A. family. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill Street North, Waterdown on Monday from 7-9 p.m. where the Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the Family Centre.
