Hazel McLean of Waterdown passed away on Saturday, May 22nd at McMaster Hospital just after her 84th birthday. She was a very kind soul who was always willing to help anyone in need and will be dearly missed by family and friends. Everyone who met her could only love her for her generosity and constant good spirit. She was "Nana" to many and enjoyed sharing the fruits of her knitting and baking. She was born on May 17th, 1926 and survived her late husband William McLean and son Wayne. Hazel is survived by her daughter Judy, grandkids Darren and Denice, great-grandkids Peyton and Jordan, Hazel's son Wray, his wife Bev, their children Michael and Belinda, great-grandkids Raechyl and Elik, Hazel's daughter-in-law Joyce, grandkids Patricia, Christine, Zachary, Joshua, Kelly-Anne, Nikita and great-grandkids Sebastian and Ivy. A Memorial Service will be held by KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Monday June 7th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society or the National Heart and Stroke Foundation. Please sign the Book of Condolence.
