Peacefully while surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, the Lord took unto Himself Alice Vandasselaar in her 68th year. Beloved wife of John and dear mother of John (Cathy), Gerald (Wendy), Mike (Anita), and Richard (Julie). Loved Oma ofJulia, Bradley, Bryan, Melanie, Sarah, David, Emily, Gus, Benjamin and Robert. Dear sister of Tryn van Enk (As), John Jagt(Denise), Tinie VanderVeen (Dick), Grace Sieders (Henry), Nancy Vanderpol, Lammert Jagt (Marianne), Jack Jagt (Jane), Albert Jagt, Jerry Jagt (Jo), Bob Jagt (Freda), and sisters-in-law Jane VanYken, Annette Jagt and Joyce Jagt. Alice will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill Street North, Waterdown on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at EBENEZER CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 607 Dynes Road, Burlington on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Dr. G. Nederveen officiating. Interment to follow at Burlington Memorial Gardens. If so desired, donations to Anchor Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
