It is with joyful hearts that we say goodbye for now to our beloved mother and grandmother who will prepare a place for her loved ones left behind, who know her beloved Jesus and will pray for those who will hopefully also come to know him. Hazel passed onto glory and was honoured to be taken Home to her Heavenly Father on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 9, 2010. She is cherished by her sons Donald Malcolm and his wife Sharlee of Port Severn and Dale Malcolm and his wife Jo-Ann and their daughters Leanne and Stephanie of Branchton. Hazel along with her two sons built, owned and operated Meredin Kennels in Millgrove, Ontario from 1977 - 1987. Hazel was the private secretary to the President of F.W. Fearmans on Appleby Line, Burlington during the 60's. She was a member of Shoreacres Bible Chapel in Burlington and Flamboro Centre Baptist Church, Flamboro Centre.
The family will receive friends at the KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Friday from 7-9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment Garden Lane Cemetery.
