Peacefully at his home in Angus, Ontario on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 Bill VanVeen was called home to the Lord, at the age of 45 years. Loved father of Michelle and Albert Smouter, Ryan, Justin and Russell. Dear grandfather of Angelina, Kiersten and Albert James Smouter. Beloved son of Henk and Jenny Van Veen and loved brother of Karen and Bernie Breukelman, Ray, Ingrid Van Veen and Mike, Richard and Carolee, Shane and Nadine, Jason and Courtenay, Graig and Teresa, Ben and Karen, Doug, and Herman and Rachel. Uncle Bill will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill Street North, Waterdown on Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family Interment Service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens followed by a public Memorial Service at ANCASTER CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 575 Shaver Rd. (at Garner Rd.), Ancaster on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 11:30 a.m., Rev. J. Ludwig officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall.
