Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton while surrounded by his family, on Thursday, April 29, 2010, Martin Snyder of Waterdown, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Evelyn (Stokes) for 61 years. Dear father of Linda (David) MacDonald of Oakville, and Bob (Karen) of Hamilton. Cherished Papa of Glen MacDonald. Predeceased by his sisters Cynthia, Audrey, Vera and Mary.
Martin was a veteran of WWII. Special thanks to the Dialysis Units at St. Joseph's, Bayshore and Burlington and to Dr. Alistair Ingram for his exemplary care.
Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at GRACE ANGLICAN CHURCH , 157 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in St. George's Anglican Cemetery, Lowville.
