In her 87th year, Doris passed away peacefully at Mount Nemo Christian Nursing Home on April 3, 2010. Predeceased by her husband James Ivan (1987). Dearly loved mother of Gord and Kathryn McDonald of Belwood, Glen and Mary McDonald of Mount Brydges, Marilyn and William Schoenemann of New Hamburg, Joan and Murray McDonald of Toronto, Rene and Karen Juraschka of Freelton. Beloved sister of George Hastings of Fergus. Doris will be remembered for her baking, painting, love of country life and animals.
Family will receive friends at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 12 noon at BETHEL CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 616 Dundas St. East.,(at Kerns Road), Waterdown. Interment Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus.
