Suddenly on Friday, March 19, 2010 at JBMH, Burlington, John Vanderweide in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Cornelia Vanderweide. Loving father of Hans and Emily, Will and Aida, Peter and Darlene, Paul and Linda, and John and Christine. Grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 2. John is survived by his sisters Annie, Mieke, and Toni all of Holland. Predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters. John came to Canada in 1965 as a printer by trade. His first job was at the Waterdown Review and he retired from his own business, The Printing Korner, which continues today in Waterdown. His unique sense of humour and stories will be missed.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. A private graveside service will take place at Burlington Memorial Gardens.
