Peacefully at Alexander Place, Waterdown, with her husband and family at her side, on Friday, March 5,
2010, Ruth Peters was called home by the Lord. Beloved wife of Percy for 54 years. Dear sister of Marian (Grantham) and Ellen (Robson) and predeceased by siblings, Jack, Ken, Don, Duncan, David, Elizabeth "Beth" (Hodgson) and Christina (Gullett). Aunt Ruth will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Ruth treated all the many children and teens which she met through 4H, Bible Club Movement and Pioneer Girls as if they were her own. She was a member of Flamborough Baptist Church. Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill Street North, Waterdown on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and then at JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham, St., Fonthill on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 11 a.m., Reverend Bill Thornton officiating. Interment to follow in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. If so desired, donations to any youth organization of your choice would be appreciated as an expression of sympathy.
