Peacefully at Hampton Terrace, Burlington on Saturday, February 27, 2010
after a lengthy illness, Marguerite went to be with her Lord. She was the daughter of the late Otto and Lydia Knechtel, sister to Ronald of Bethany and Woodrow and Verna, both deceased. She was a graduate of Toronto Bible College and a long time member of Philpott Church. Survived by her husband Ross. Her ambition was to be a missionary in India as her classmate did, but had to settle for working with Canadian Sunday School Mission where she taught as far away as Manitoba. Later she became a customs broker for years. We wish to thank the wonderful staff of Hampton Terrace, the Alzheimer's Society and the many friends and relatives. A private funeral service will be held. Interment will take place in St. George Cemetery, St. George, Ontario.
